Say what you want about Jurassic World Dominion, but it definitely helped in boosting the popularity of Giganotosaurus. And I'm happy that the Giant Southern Lizard is getting more attention as time flies by. And when I found out it was the state dinosaur of Texas, I became even more intrigued.Ī mega theropod who is a swift flesh ripper, the Giga has always been a favorite of mine ever since I started watching Dinosaur Train and still is to this day. Just by it's size alone, this easily became my second favorite sauropod right behind Brontosaurus. With a name that literally translates to Lizard Earthquake God, what's not to love? Ever since I first found out about this thing, I was instantly hooked. ![]() There's a reason why I decided to make it the flagship dinosaur of my Sauria Island series, it's probably my third favorite Tyrannosaurid. And Albertosaurus fits that bill perfectly. I'm a fan of big bulky dinos, but also slim ones with an interesting appearance. Since everyone's doing it, might as well. ![]()
